An angel looked down from Heaven,
Drawn by the singing of men.
And he cried:
He was alone.
Up in Heaven,
Locked in a golden cage,
He was cold and afraid.
There was no one to comfort him.
His magnificent wings
Covered his body
As his holy tears
Fell down to Earth.
And men looked up to the sky above, amazed:
The rain that day was warm and sweet like honey.
